Pelatihan Kerajinan Tangan Dari Kertas di Panti Asuhan ‘Aisyiyah Ampang

Abstract

Handicrafts can be used as decoration and can be used to start a business. The aim of community service is to increase knowledge and skills and develop the creativity of children at the 'Aisyiyah Ampang Orphanage, Padang. This activity was carried out at the 'Aisyiyah Ampang Orphanage on March 10 2022 with a total of 46 participants. The type of community service activity is learning about the skills of making paper accessories in the form of flowers for decoration. The method of community service is through socialization and direct practice assisted by members of the Apikes Iris Scientific UKM student activity unit. It is hoped that the results of this community service activity can motivate people to become entrepreneurs in order to increase economic income. It is recommended that future activities include outreach regarding the processing of plastic waste into economically valuable handicrafts.
